Burson Auto Parts welcomes a new and highly experienced executive to Australia’s preferred trade supplier of parts, tools and workshop equipment.

Anthony Hughes has been appointed to the role of Burson Auto Parts National Sales Manager, joining the Australian company after a stellar career with two of Australia’s largest petroleum and lubricant manufacturing and marketing companies.

After gaining his Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Hughes commenced his professional career as an Apprentice Maintenance Fitter with Kinnears Australia, becoming a Manufacturing Engineer with the company within five years.

After joining Mobil as a Fluid Services Engineer in 2000, Hughes worked on the company’s OEM business with Ford Australia along with being tasked with several other major responsibilities.

In 2003 Hughes began his career with Caltex Australia that spanned 14 years across the management positions of Fluid Services Engineer, Industrial Business Manager, National Solutions Development Manager, National Automotive / OEM Business Development Manager and National Sales Manager – Automotive / OEM. Hughes pursued further tertiary qualifications during this phase of his career, including an Advanced Diploma in Operations and a Bachelor of Business, providing him with a unique combination of mechanical and engineering knowledge combined with sales and business management skills.

Hughes brings vast sales management skills to this role with Burson Auto Parts during an exciting period of sustained growth for this Australian company.
