Burson Auto Parts Helps Lunchbox Rally Raise Over $500,000 for Cancer Research

11th Feburary 2026

Burson Auto Parts is proud to announce that the 2025 Lunchbox Rally has raised an incredible $502,000 for the Cancer Council, funding vital research into prostate and lung cancer.

The Lunchbox Rally challenges participants to drive cars worth less than $1,500 across Australia's toughest landscapes, raising funds for cancer research along the way. It's about mateship, determination, and making a real difference in the fight against cancer.

Sean Quagliani took on the challenging multi-day rally through some of Australia's most remote terrain and they did it in style, with a convertible SAAB, which was the only convertible on the rally.

The rally covered a demanding round-trip route starting from Broken Hill, positioned right on the border of Victoria and South Australia. The team navigated through Yunta, Hawker, and Arkaroola before returning via Yunta to Broken Hill. They endured hundreds of kilometres of outback roads.

The Lunchbox Rally embodies the Australian spirit turning a challenging adventure into an opportunity to give back. Burson Auto Parts is honoured to support the Cancer Council and contribute to research that will improve outcomes for cancer patients across the country.

Congratulations to all participants in the 2025 Lunchbox Rally and thank you to everyone who donated and supported this remarkable cause along with the support from Burson Ringwood.
