Motorsport Update
AUGUST 24, 2023
Burson Auto Parts drivers Ben Bargwanna and Antonio Molluso have been going hard out on track in recent months respectively.
Ben has been taking the TCR Peugeot 308 to new levels and is genuinely finding pace out on track as he works his way to grab that top podium finish. His recent trip to sunny Queensland Raceway saw him grab some true form, but a turbo line failure resulted in his final race being cut short.
He also touched on his recent visit to Bursons Managers Conference, and how excellent it was to chat with all the managers on motorsport related topics, strategies, and life.
Antonio returned to the famous Calder Park Raceway track which hasn’t held a sprint race in over 20 years. It was a historical day to see motor racing return to Calder, and the little Excels provided a great buzz.
During the first two races, he managed to maintain position, with a setback due to a racing incident. However, Race 3 turned out to be the highlight of the weekend. Starting from the 11th grid position, he made impressive progress, advancing to 5th place by executing skilful manoeuvres. Our performance remained consistent throughout the race.
It’s great to see both our Burson entries taking on the tracks around the country. The next race for both our drivers is at Sandown Raceway, 8-10th September.
