Supporting Locals Raising Funds for Cancer Research

September 26th, 2024

Burson Auto Parts is always focused on supporting our community. Helping contribute to changing the lives of people is at the heart of what we do. Our Burson Ringwood store is proud to be supporting a father and son duo in the 2024 Lunchbox Rally.

The Lunchbox Rally is an endurance driving competition, in which teams must push their cars through the toughest terrain Australia has to offer, while their vehicle budgets are set under $1,500. The fun is in the challenge! All funds raised go to Cancer Council Australia and their research efforts.

For Team ‘Yeah Nah Nah Yeah’, formed by participant Sean and his son Zach, this drive is in the name of supporting charity.

“We chose to do the Lunchbox Rally as it’s all about raising money for cancer treatment and prevention,” said Sean.

“Without the fantastic team at Burson Ringwood, this event for us wouldn’t be possible. So far, we have raised $6,000 towards the fundraiser, and Burson Auto Parts has made a massive contribution,” said Sean.

For Store Manager Max Broughton and his team, seeing the smiles and passion being injected into a not-for-profit racing event was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up.

“It’s great to support locals, especially when they’re getting behind a great charity. Our Ringwood store has been there to assist in sourcing parts and answering any questions the team has,” said Max.

We wish Sean and Zach the very best as their convertible Saab makes its way towards Hay, NSW, commencing on 27th September until 1st October.
